Should I pay ~175 dollars to have my Nissan Frontier drive belts replaced?
November 27th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I have a 2003 Nissan Frontier - The dealership says it’s ~$155 for the parts (the A/C belt, the alternator belt, power steering) and the rest for labor. Does the total amount ~$175 (including shop fees and tax) sound reasonable?
4 CommentsI am going to ask that the old belts be provided to me after they complete the job. Does anyone else have anything I need to look out for/ask?

What actually happens when a person is sued because of deliquent car payments?
October 20th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I recently lost my job and can no longer afford to make my car payments. The place that gave me the loan has threatened to sue me. I don’t want to return the vehicle, I’d rather have it as a scorched credit rating on my TRW . But, I would pay the balance later on down the line, little by little. Could I keep the car in hiding and hope that it’s not found? And once this is on my credit report do I still need to run and hide? Could they still come for the car?

Why do owners not take care of their cars?
October 16th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I do quite a bit of driving in my job, and I can’t stand to see cars with built up brake dust. You know the cars/trucks I’m talking about..They are the ones with 2 shiny chrome rims in the back, and 2 black rims in the front. This is caused by built up brake dust on the front rims.
5 CommentsThen you see some where the shiny rims are on the front, and the black rims are on the back. This means they had the tires rotated and still didn’t clean off the brake dust.
I don’t care if you have a beater, but I’m talking about Lexus, Infiniti, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, etc. I mean come on people get a friggin car wash. I do at least 3 times a week. Sorry just a big pet peeve of mine.

What should I use to get the smell of dead animal fro m the interior of my car?
October 13th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I live on a farm, mice got into the heater ductwork and needless to say things are quite ripe right now. Any suggestions on what will get rid of the smell? Have used Oust and Clorox spray but it keeps coming back.
I guess I should have added the fact that yes, the critter is gone..and all remnants of it. That was a fun job in itself.
