I bought a car from a used car dealer in Arkansas and found out the second day that it has a blown head gasket and will cost a couple grand to fix along with 10 other codes that need to be fixed. I need to know if it can be legally returned.

My son recently bought a truck from a used car dealer and it does not have an inspection sticker. When it was addressed to the seller they told him they would get him one.

Is it illegal for a car lot to sell a used car with a cracked windshield?

I purchased a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo which has several chips and cracks in the windshield. Isn’t it illegal to sell a used car with a cracked windshield? The dealer said they’d replace it free of charge but that was a month ago and I haven’t heard from then since.
I live in Ohio where snow is a factor, so I can’t exactly ignore it and hope that it doesn’t shatter completely because the first time snow falls and my windshield freezes, it’s going to break.

Does anyone know how to become an “online used car dealer”?

I have read several websites that state they can give you an insured dealer plate, access to dealer-only auctions, and process all transactions under an existing dealership for fees ranging from $1500 to $5000. Is this a scam or legitimate? I looked up one of these companies on the BBB website and they gave less than positive information on the subject. I could really use some help in this area as I would like to do this if it is legitimate.

I have recently decided to purchase an 07 Xterra. I have yet to pay for the car. I have filled out a lot of papers such as a “you owe/We owe, a power of attorney concerning title transfer and some other ones. The car i chose is not at the lot. They promised me the car the following day, but three days later no car. They stated that they were having difficulty with another dealership and they had drop the ball. They even said that they were going to drive the car approx 300 miles to my location. I stated that would not be acceptable. There customer service has been quite lame. I had to call them to find out the status of my vehicle. I placed no money down and gave them no sort of retainer. They also wanted to run another credit check after I stated that I have a blank check from my bank. Can I ditch this loser dealership?

My husband put a down payment on a car, the finances did not go through. They told him about not being able to get the car on Tuesday, but on Monday they cash the check (with out us knowing) they gave him back the check as they lead him to beleive was but a copy of. Now our account is in overdraft.
