What law prohibits auto dealers from acceping a lower bid on an advertized sticker price of a car?

A CA auto dealership stated that no negotiation (for a lower price) cold be considered on a used car because of a new 2008 (April) law, which states that an advertized price (newspaper) and sticker price on the car could not be lowered through negotiation. Does anyone know of this new law? If so, where can read about this law that prohibits a lower price offer on an advertized “special” price on a used car?

Can I give a tenant 30 days verbally to vacate a premesis without a lease or rent?

I am in Arizona and I have someone that has been staying in my house rent free for 3 months. I verbally told this person they needed to be out at the end of September but they have now told me they will not vacate until an official document is served. This person has not paid a single bill at the location and there is no documented lease. Do I need to provide her legal documentation?
I told her she could stay there till she got back on her feet.

A question for those in the automotive industry?

I am looking for alluminum covers for connecting rods. You know, when disassembling an engine, you usualy slip rubber over the threads on the connecting rods to keep them from scratching the crank or cylinder walls during removal. I have seen alluminum covers that actualy thread onto the connecting rods to keep uit from scratching the crank or cylinders, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a site i could find these at?
I know that rubber hose is the most common thing to use now, but I prefer the alluminum ones, and I’n trying to find a set.

It was the movie that was made in 1977 about a possed car that had no driver and could not enter a grasveyard because of hallowed ground.

How does one find and attend car auctions?

Ok, my friend’s dad just picked him up a BMW with decent mileage for like under 2k, and I want these kinds of deals. They’re called car auctions I guess. His dad is a private used car dealer, buys and sells cars in his driveway… but he told me they’re open to anybody, you just gotta know where they are. How do I go about finding these auctions? I want to buy a newer jeep and I have 6k to spend so if he can get a bmw for under 2, I think I will be able to pick something nice up. I just need to find the auctions, anybody know the secret behind this?

I am aware these cars could be semi-beat up, re-possessed from bankrupt people, criminals, etc, sold by the government etc. But I am a 17year old carhead and I know ALOT about cars so I can easily do some DIY and work, dont worry about that part of it.
Of course I still want a car thats legal to drive. I.e. not stolen or anything no no no that would be bad
Larry appreciate your sarcasm but that brings me to sites that you shell out a credit card for 8 bucks a month to have some joe schmoe email you what he knows. I was hoping somebody here knows of like a scheduled auctions, etc

Should I accept $3000.00 for my car?

It’s a 2002 Nissan Maxima. I went to Caroffer.com. They haven’t seen the car (only pictures), they just made an offer. I’m not trading it in for anything. It has 143000 miles. I love the car and i would appreciate more money,the only issue is that there is no work involved. Meaning no advertising expense and no driving around to advertise. $3000 is the trade in price and the private price is $6000. Should I take the money and run or am I giving up too quickly.
